Choose your fighter
Use the live roster and inspect availability, unlock state and variants rather than relying on a raw catalog count.
Meet K.O.R.E., an independent 3D MUGEN-style roster fighter. Play in your browser, learn the controls and explore its modes and compatibility on PlayKORE.

K.O.R.E. is an independent browser-based 3D roster fighter from Bungalow Game Studios. Choose a fighter, learn its moves in Training, play Arcade or explore the current online options. It is a MUGEN-style alternative with its own engine and content pipeline, not an official MUGEN release or a promise of arbitrary character-pack compatibility.
Use the live roster and inspect availability, unlock state and variants rather than relying on a raw catalog count.
Practice in Training, try an Arcade run, or follow the online room flow for a specific match.
Learn how sprite-derived visuals, 3D presentation and the development import pipeline fit together.

K.O.R.E. is a browser-based 3D roster fighter and a MUGEN-style alternative on PlayKORE. It has its own engine and content pipeline; it is not an official 3D release of MUGEN.
Read guide →2.5D usually describes 3D presentation combined with largely planar fighting, while 3D fighting can also involve depth movement. Check rendering, movement and asset compatibility separately when comparing MUGEN-style games.
Read guide →K.O.R.E. is an independent 3D browser fighter. IKEMEN GO describes support for MUGEN resources and a compatibility goal. Choose by the current engine, supported content and workflow rather than treating the names as interchangeable.
Read guide →Start with the current browser release. Device performance and input support vary; check the game’s settings and live prompts. Browser play, desktop packages and development tools are distinct paths. Read the guides before assuming a particular installer or import feature is available.
It is a 3D MUGEN-style alternative with its own engine. It is not an official MUGEN release.
The direct Play button launches the browser release. It still downloads the assets required for that session.
Do not assume that. The inspected custom-fighter workflow uses sprite sheets and development endpoints, not general public CNS/CMD compatibility.
Check the controls, choose a selectable fighter and use Training to learn movement and one reliable attack.
Open K.O.R.E. on PlayKORE, pass the initial key prompt, choose a mode and select a fighter. Browser play is separate from installing the desktop package or using development import tools.
Read guide →K.O.R.E.’s default player-one keyboard uses WASD for movement, U/I/J/K for four attacks, Space to jump, O to charge, Enter to confirm and Escape to pause. Saved bindings and control schemes take precedence.
Read guide →Learn K.O.R.E. with one fighter, one reliable attack and a short Training routine. Establish movement, range and recovery before trying longer combos or judging online performance.
Read guide →Use K.O.R.E. Training to learn inputs, spacing and one fighter’s moves. Use Arcade for a run through its opponent/progression structure, checking the current mode options rather than assuming every mode shares the same rules.
Read guide →K.O.R.E. online play has room, identity and match-state requirements. Choose the intended online mode, follow its host/join flow and confirm both players are ready before diagnosing battle inputs.
Read guide →Choose a currently selectable K.O.R.E. fighter from the live roster. Availability, unlock state and variants are separate from the number of character definitions stored in the project.
Read guide →K.O.R.E.’s inspected custom fighter workflow imports sprite sheets and authors animation slots through development tooling. It does not establish general public-browser support for MUGEN character ZIPs or CNS/CMD logic.
Read guide →K.O.R.E. uses its own stage definitions and includes development tooling for translating selected MUGEN DEF/background data. Stage conversion is separate from character compatibility and requires visual and gameplay checks.
Read guide →You can start by trying K.O.R.E.’s browser game on Steam Deck. PlayKORE also has a separate installer workflow; check the current manifest, package type and controller setup before choosing that route.
Read guide →Coverage: Public overview checked against named game source passages. Selected public runtime responses are compared by hash; full content and device certification remain separate.
First-party facts: Named runtime/source passages and the selected live entry checks recorded here. Original additions: Explanations, comparison framing and practice routines. Gaps: No full-campaign, whole-roster, universal device or network certification. Development tooling is distinct from public capabilities.

Inspected menu, mode and importer source. Character import and MUGEN stage import POST to /__kore/dev/ endpoints. Source inspection is not a complete production compatibility test.
