The deadline is explicit
Pokémon Support gives the end time as February 25, 2027 at 7 p.m. PST, equivalent to February 26 at 03:00 UTC. After service ends, Bank-to-HOME transfers will no longer be possible according to that notice.
Do not interpret older support pages describing the feature as a promise of indefinite availability. The newer service-end notice is the relevant limit.
Prepare the accounts and collection
Check the Nintendo Account used for HOME and the Nintendo Network ID associated with Bank where relevant. Confirm HOME Premium, available storage and the Pokémon you intend to move.
The official connection guide describes a route using the 3DS app and a route for linked accounts without the 3DS. The latter can move the whole Bank collection, so read its scope carefully before choosing it.
This is not a full save migration
The Pokémon move; your old game’s story progress does not. Nor does HOME provide a return path into Bank. Keep any Pokémon in their original context if you still need them there and have not decided to move permanently.
Check each later game’s species and form compatibility before assuming the collection will be playable there. HOME storage and a destination game’s supported roster are different things.
A used 3DS is not an automatic setup
New eShop purchases have ended, and required historical apps cannot simply be assumed to exist on a newly acquired system. Confirm legitimate access before planning a transfer chain from an older cartridge.
The service notice below should be checked again before acting. If Pokémon changes the published schedule, this guide and the platform finder need to be updated together.
