A Wonder Pick is a chance, not a selection
You can inspect the cards in the displayed result, but selecting a pick does not let you guarantee the particular rare card you noticed. Decide whether the whole opportunity is worth the cost rather than treating the best possible result as the expected result.
Resource recovery and special pick rules can change. Use the current app’s cost and availability display as the reference for the action you are about to take.
Pack points have a narrower scope
The official gameplay FAQ explains that points relate to expansions identified by their expansion code. They are not automatically a pool you can spend on any card from any future set.
Before opening more packs to reach a target, inspect the exchange menu and verify that the desired card is actually eligible. Similar pack names can belong to a shared expansion, while another release may use a different code.
Separate collecting from deck completion
If you want a specific missing card for a deck, an eligible point exchange can have a different value from a random pick. If you want to broaden a collection, several possible new cards may make a Wonder Pick more appealing.
Keep the goal explicit. Chasing an attractive illustration and completing an evolution line for battle are both valid choices, but they are not the same spending problem.
Read time-sensitive rules in the app
Check availability, expiry and any event-specific restrictions before using a guide’s older screenshot. The current support FAQ is particularly useful when a resource changed or an expected exchange option is missing.
This page explains the decision rather than claiming a guaranteed way to complete a set. Random acquisition remains random even when a selection contains several cards you would like.
