Check the destination before sending
Confirm that HOME is connected to the account you want and that it has room to receive the Pokémon. Then check whether the eventual console game accepts the species and form. Reaching HOME and entering a particular RPG are different steps.
Costumes, special forms and other restrictions can block particular Pokémon. Read the current eligibility message rather than assuming everything in GO storage can leave it.
Understand the Transporter
GO’s transfer workflow uses its Transporter system and displays the relevant cost or availability. Review that information before confirming a large group. Do not assume every species or special Pokémon has the same transfer cost.
After sending, finish the receiving process in HOME. If the Pokémon has not appeared in the expected place, check whether a receipt step is still waiting before trying another transfer.
The move is one-way
HOME is not overflow storage from which you can withdraw the same Pokémon into GO later. Keep a GO battle-team member in GO if that is where you still need it.
The receiving console game also has its own limits and can handle moves or other details differently. Check the final destination’s rules before sending a Pokémon only because you recognize the species there.
Keep the accounts clear
When more than one person uses a device or household console, verify the actual Nintendo Account rather than relying on an avatar or nickname. The wrong account can turn an otherwise successful transfer into a difficult recovery problem.
The official HOME movement page and GO instructions are the references for the current supported route. This guide does not claim that every special form or event Pokémon is transferable.
