Final Fantasy VII Revelation on Switch 2: what Nintendo has confirmed

The systems named by the publisher

The listing describes airship-based travel, a fully assembled party and switching between characters while issuing tactical commands. It also names customization through equipment, materia and the new FITS system.

Those are announced features. They do not establish the balance of every build, final story length or the performance of an unfinished Switch 2 release.

Keep the main game and later content separate

The product page includes individual additional-content listings, some with their own future windows. A base-game release date should not be applied automatically to every story add-on shown on the same page.

If you compare editions, read the contents list and release timing for each piece. Cosmetic items, early unlocks and later story content are different benefits.

Existing saves can relate to bonuses

The publisher describes particular bonuses associated with save data from earlier titles and gives platform-specific conditions. A bonus check is not the same as transferring the earlier game’s complete campaign progress into this one.

Avoid turning footage into a review

Visuals from promotional material communicate the intended presentation. Loading, resolution, responsiveness and sustained performance need a test of the actual Switch 2 software.

The current US listing supplies the recorded date. The calendar keeps the day without inventing a worldwide unlock hour, and this page will change when an official notice changes the release or edition details.
