Use the account that owns your Live progress
The support FAQ describes in-app redemption on Android or desktop and redemption through the official Pokémon website. Follow the route currently available on your device, then verify the account before submitting a code.
In the supported app flow, open Shop and Redeem, enter or scan the code and review the displayed items. Some claimed rewards can arrive in the app’s Inbox rather than appearing where you first expected them.
A code represents a product reward
Codes from marked boosters can provide digital boosters from the expansion, but the digital cards are not guaranteed to be identical to the physical cards you opened. A preconstructed-deck code follows the relevant product’s reward rules.
Not every physical Pokémon product contains a redeemable code. Check the packaging rather than assuming a missing code is always a packing error.
Read limits before claiming
The redemption interface can show how many codes for that product have been used and the applicable limit. Product-specific rules can differ. An old list of limits should not replace the current screen and FAQ.
Do not post an unused code publicly while asking whether it is valid. Someone else may redeem it before the support issue is resolved.
If redemption fails
Check the characters, product eligibility and whether the code was already used. Keep the card and relevant purchase information for an official support request. Repeatedly changing accounts can make it harder to determine where a successful reward went.
Scanning the artwork of an ordinary physical Pokémon card does not automatically add that exact card to Live. The redeemable code and its product reward are the relevant mechanism.
